"Dear Harley Davidson,
I would like to not only share my thoughts but, to have these words shared with Harley Davidson senior leadership.
I have lived in Conroe, Texas since 2012. I have owned six Harleys in my lifetime. I have had my 2012 FLHX serviced at Texan Harley many times. I have had great experiences' there. The staff is always accommodating and addresses your concerns.
As of late, I had another issue with my bike losing its charge. I had to explain to Mark that I had recently been one of the 33 million to lose my job. I was not asking for charity however, I expressed my needing to keep the repairs to a minimum. Mark immediately said not to worry and he would certainly help me out. It was another balmy 100 degrees as I attempted to ride it to Conroe from Montgomery Texas. Unfortunately, I only made it halfway. The sun was beating down and I was very concerned as to how I would get it to Texan Harley.
I did the only thing I could do and contacted Mark the General Manager at Texan. Without missing a beat, Mark asked where I was and said, he would dispatch someone a.s.a.p. I was able to sit inside a store while I waited for my rescue. It was a very short period of time, when Josh showed up with a truck and trailer in tow. We loaded the bike and drove to Texan Harley where they were waiting on us. They had a full shop of bikes being worked on but made the time to assess and explain what I needed.
They went on to repair and go over the bike to make sure everything was in good rigor. My bike was once again fixed and road worthy, thanks to these folks from the top down at Texan Harley.
The entire group there really cares about the customer. I do not remember all of their names but, would like to mention a few, that I do.
Josh has been a friend of mine from Harley for quite some time. He has always taken his time to explain and troubleshoot with me. Allecia is always as friendly as can be and has offered insight on my bike and programs available to me over the years.
Mark is the leader. He loves what he does and who he works for. It shows ! Texan Harley is a cut above your run of the mill Harley Dealerships. I highly recommend them to friends and family when asked.
Leadership starts at the top. We all "lead by example". However, there are good and bad examples. Texan is led by a great General Manager and staff that truly believe in customer service.
In closing, I wanted to take a moment to share this story and say a very heartfelt thanks to Mark for his compassion and understanding and to all my friends, at Texan Harley in Conroe, TX.
